Explored at a considered pace, each destination reveals a different layer of one of the ancient world’s richest concentrations of sacred and intellectual heritage.

How the Experience Unfolds

DAY 1
Istanbul — Arrival
Arrive in Istanbul and settle into your hotel in the historic centre. The remainder of the day is yours to rest or begin exploring the city at your own pace.
DAY 2
Istanbul → Assos
Travel south across the Dardanelles to Assos. Explore the Temple of Athena, the ancient harbour and the hilltop landscapes where Aristotle established his philosophical school overlooking the Aegean.
DAY 3
Assos → Pergamon → İzmir
Visit Pergamon’s Acropolis and the renowned Asclepion, one of antiquity’s most important healing sanctuaries. Continue to İzmir in the evening.
DAY 4
Izmir: The Ionian City
Spend the day exploring ancient Smyrna, including the Roman Agora and Archaeological Museum, while experiencing the atmosphere of one of the Aegean’s great coastal cities.
DAY 5
Claros & Şirince
Travel to Claros, one of Apollo’s most important oracle sanctuaries, before continuing to the hill village of Şirince for a relaxed afternoon among vineyards and stone houses.
DAY 6
Ephesus & the House of the Virgin Mary
Explore Ephesus and its remarkable monuments, including the Library of Celsus and the Great Theatre. Later, visit the House of the Virgin Mary overlooking the ancient city.
DAY 7
Miletus, Didyma & Bodrum
Discover Miletus, birthplace of the earliest Greek philosophers, before continuing to the monumental Temple of Apollo at Didyma. Arrive in Bodrum in the evening.
DAY 8
Bodrum & Departure

Visit Bodrum’s harbour, the Castle of St Peter and the site of the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus before your transfer to the airport.
