This experience explores the dramatic meeting point of mountain and sea — where the Taurus Highlands rise above the Mediterranean coastline.
From the cedar forests of the Beydağları to the high plateaus of Elmalı, the journey combines rewarding summit hikes, traditional highland culture and some of the most spectacular mountain scenery in southern Türkiye. Along the way, ancient pathways, Yörük landscapes and panoramic ridgelines reveal a side of the Mediterranean that remains largely unknown beyond the coast.

How the Experience Unfolds
DAY 1
Tülek Village & Cedar Forests
Drive from Antalya to the small mountain hamlet of Tülek, where the walk begins with traditional gözleme and ayran prepared by local villagers. The trail climbs through ancient cedar forests and alpine meadows, opening to panoramic views of both the Taurus Mountains and the Mediterranean coastline before continuing to your mountain hotel.
DAY 2
Summit of Lycian Olympus (Tahtalı)
Drive to the Yörük highlands of Yukarı Kuzdere and begin the ascent of Lycian Olympus (Tahtalı Dağı). The route passes through dense forest before emerging onto open mountain terrain with ever-expanding views across the Beydağları range and the coast below. After reaching the summit, descend by cable car and continue to Elmalı.
DAY 3
Summit of Kızlarsivrisi
An early start leads to the ascent of Kızlarsivrisi, the highest peak on the Mediterranean coast. Wide mountain views extend across multiple Taurus ranges before the descent continues through high plateaus, shepherd landscapes and the Cedar Research Forest, home to monumental cedar trees centuries old.
DAY 4
Aksivri Ridge & Termessos
A final ridge walk below Aksivri offers panoramic views across the Akdağlar range before returning toward Antalya. In the afternoon, explore the remarkably preserved ruins of Termessos, dramatically positioned above the surrounding valleys within Güllük Dağı National Park.
